Tesoro

Tesoro is the all-day dining restaurant within the Taj Dubai Hotel and is conceived as a Peruvian a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner which also has the ability to operate a full international buffet breakfast. The brief called for a sense of place relative to the menu to be expressed in the design. The restaurant is filled with light from the new addition and interesting shadows are cast through the Peruvian style screens. The breakfast buffet area is screened from the restaurant successfully at lunch and dinner and the colour story used in the design are neutral and soothing and help the restaurant transition through all meal service times.
