Salt & Pepper

Salt & Pepper, located on the mezzanine level, is the all-day dining restaurant which forms part of the newly opened Al Bandar Rotana hotel on Deira creek side in Dubai. The inspiration was a Scandinavian market style venue where guests would be able to meander through the vast array of food counters and live cooking station displaying food from all four corners of the globe in one day. The large, bright open space includes a terrace and is divided by light timber see-through screens creating various seating pockets. Monochromatic colours and simple finishes create clean lines and a neutral back-drop to the food on display. Scandinavian styled furniture is used throughout, all of which are functional and comfortable with minimal fuss. Stitched woolen chairs in a light grey colour sit beside simple black tables. The circular glass lamps are an attractive feature.
