Amador

A destination restaurant and wine cellar serving a modern take on high end tapas and molecular cuisines. The interior follows a pattern of adding modern and contemporary twists to traditional Spanish design elements. Oversized metal doors in shagreen effect finish give a grand and majestic entry into the bar area. Large organic curved bar counters are juxtaposed against the more traditional beamed and barrel vaulted ceiling. A contrast in textures is achieved by using natural linens and cow hides mixed with smooth leathers and polished onyx.

The letter walls inspired by branding irons become a sculptural statement linking the bar area with the restaurant. Wrought iron effect grille doors separate the exclusive private dining and wine tasting rooms from the main restaurant while still allowing views through to the different areas. Touches of glamour are achieved through the tear drop shaped glass pendants and bronze mirror paneling.
